Girls Incorporated of Oak Ridge offers Center-based Programs that provide structured learning and fun experiences for the children of working parents and single working parents. These programs reaches all races and socio-economic levels.
MEMBERSHIP: Our center based programs are offered to girls between the ages of 5 and 14 and/or in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade. Girls must be member of Girls Incorporated of Oak Ridge in order to attend these programs.
FEES: $40.00/week -- but scholarships are available.

Girls Incorporated® of Oak Ridge delivers these Girls Inc. National Identity Programs:
Girls Inc. Operation Smart®: A program designed to provide
hands-on experience with math, science and technology. It builds girls' skills with activities that
give girls the opportunity to explore, ask questions, and solve problems through
projects, games and examples.
Girls Inc. Economic
Literacy®: She’s on the Money®: a program that provides girls with the skills
and self-confidence they need to contribute to the economy. Girls learn how to budget, save, and take
informed financial risks. It also
provides a forum for discussion about equal pay for equal work, child-care,
welfare and other issues that particularly affect women and girls.
Girls Inc. Sporting
Chance®: BridgesSM and
SteppingstonesSM builds movement and athletic skills, cooperative and
competitive spirit, health awareness, and interest in all sports as girls
explore career opportunities related to sports and experience the benefits of
healthy risk taking.

After-School Program
¬ Girls Incorporated of Oak Ridge provides van transportation for girls from area schools.
¬ The
¬ Our programs are offered Monday through Friday and last until 6 p.m.

¬ Scholarships are available. A review is done to assess an applicant’s needs.
¬ The program is offered to kindergarteners through middle school-aged children.

Ten weeks of summer excitement begins as school lets out.
Age requirements: Rising first graders through rising 8th graders.
Field trips include skating, sports, hiking and swimming, as well as other fun and entertaining places to visit.
Arts and crafts that are useful and create an opportunity for life-long enjoyment!
